Augmented Reality

Augmented Reality
I started experimenting with augmented reality a few years ago, and it’s only gotten more interesting. The first app I used, and probably my favorite, was an app called Aurasma – and then HP bought it and renamed it HP Reveal. Next, I found an app called Eye Jack, which I still enjoy. Somewhere in the mix I found one called Slide AR, which has almost no instructions whatsoever, but has cool features like depth of layers. Finally, Adobe got in the mix with Aero, and it’s promising. I’m not an expert by any means, but it’s super fun, and I hope to continue to develop these ideas.
Here are a few examples of Slide AR from the 2020 edition of #36DaysOfType on Instagram.
